I am not sure what is going on with me lately, but I just love making cards! Right now, I would much rather make cards than scrapbook…..did i just say that???!!!! I think because they are quick, & easy, & you can use up your scraps. I was on a card making kick this past weekend. March was a busy month for us with birthdays. We had my mothers, my cousins son, & our neighbors son. So, I made the cards. I don't make cards very often, but thought I would this month. So, this is what I came up with: For my mother: For Max, who turned 1: For Nicholas, my cousins son: I am not a great card maker, but they are fun & easy. Thanks for looking.

Here are a few more of my recent los. This one, Fun Times, I actually used a pencil eraser to stamp the dots on a white piece of card stock. It worked perfectly! & as it turned out, it totally matched the dots on the pp. Quick & easy. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the photo! We were at my friends house, who has girls the same age as my girls. After a long day of play, they took a bath, before getting into their jammies. It makes it easier for us too. My girls, of course, fell asleep on the way home, all we needed to do was put them in their beds. I of course "blacked out" the best part of the photo for posting purposes....but in my book there are bare naked tushies. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This was Emma YEARS ago. She was not even a year old here. Posing for the 1st ever calendar that I did (which got me into scrapping, btw). This lo was created for TES online crop challenge to scrap old photos. A few weeks back, The Everyday Scrapper had an online crop celebrating their birthday. I have posted some of my creations already, but here are a few more. I was on a roll!! This lo was a scraplift of the very talented Jewels . It was an honor to scraplift her. I knew exactly what I was looking for. I had these velum sayings, & this one worked perfectly. In my digging for the velum sayings, I found the below saying as well. This pic of the girls always cracks me up! They thought they were so cool w/ their chairs & drink in their lil pool. And this one! We had Mommy & Me, & came home afterwards. I ran upstairs to sort laundry (I think), & thought it was awfully quiet downstairs, & she hadn't followed me up (which she normally does). When I came back down, this is what I found. So peaceful, w/ Teddy & thumb. I can't remember what we did at Mommy & Me, but it must've wiped her out!! Thanks for stopping by to look. I got this award a few days ago, just haven't had time to really post it. I got it from one of my favorite blogger friends Ana. Ana is a super talented scrapper so check her blog . I normally don’t post about my girls, or goings on in my life.  It is usually just all about my crafts.  However, today we had the most spectacular day together!  My girlfriend called me at the last minute & asked if I wanted to go to Blue Marsh, since it was going to be a fabulous day. It has been rainy & crummy all week, & today it was supposed to be in the 70s.   I said, sure, what the heck, so we piled the kids in the car, & headed over to the lake.  There is a playground, &  little beach at the lake, & just a lot of outdoors & nature (which Deb & I are both big fans of!).  We started out near the water, throwing stones in, & collecting leaves, & then we had lunch, & then the kids played on the playground, well, by the time we left……Well…..   Let the pictures tell the story: They went from this: To this: To this: Finally to this!!   I did not add the pictures of my ...

Good morning! Here is another lo that I had created over the weekend. Yes! This would be my perfect ME day! Starbucks, a good book, & scrappy time! Hey, come to think of it, I will be w/o the girls tomorrow, dh will be working.....I just may have a "Perfect Me Day!" :o) This lo was created using the April monthly sketch at Crop Stop , & also for a challenge at The Everyday Scrapper.

Every month Scraptacular , my lss, holds page design classes. Beth always puts together fun & easy pages, & sometimes challenges us w/ new techniques. Last month I was not able to attend the class, but I did get the kit. The class consists of 2 - double page los, & 2 - single page los. Of course, you don't have to keep the page exactly as she has designed, but it is always a quick way to add to your albums!! Here are 2 of the los that were in the kit. (the other 2 do not have pics on them yet, & I wanted to sew on them to add a "me" touch). Both pages are of the girls 2 years ago in the snow, of course. It seems that my pics came out blurry again! It must be the camera & not the photographer ;o)~

Another lo that I did for TES online crop.  I also posted it at the Crop Stop for use of my cricut/die cuts (the frame & the circles). The challenge was to cut out your picture & add something to it.  Ex: wings, crown, etc.  Well this was the perfect picture to alter!  It is of Emma at her 3rd birthday party, which was a Cinderella theme.  She wore a feather crown all day, & I got this pic which was perfect for this challenge. I cut the frame from my cricut, as well as the circles.  I cut out around Emma’s head & crown, & popped her out of the frame.  Then I added feathers to the crown to simulate what she was actually wearing in the picture.   I LOVE the way this lo turned out!  It was hard to adhere the feathers, but this lo just makes me smile.  Look at that face!  Thanks for looking & hope you stop back again soon.

At the Everyday Scrapper online crop this past week, one of the challenges was to make a lo with flowers that you have made yourself. There are so many techniques, & ideas out there, & so many different ways to make your own flowers, it was hard for me to chose what I was going to do. I kind of remember seeing these somewhere, but am not sure where, or even if I did it correctly, but I had this roll of fabric that was about 2 inches wide. Not quite a ribbon, but too small to do anything else with. So I just started twisting & twisting & twisting until I came up with: I think that this lo is now up there on my faves list. Just look at Emma’s face. (this pic was at O.C. Md. in 2008). The crop at TES is now over. It was awesome! I did every single challenge! & had 30 minutes to spare too! It totally helps when dh watches the girls all day, while Mommy plays in her scrap room. Those days don't happen very often, but I sure appreciate it when they do!! I will pos...

When I was guest designer for From Here to Scrapternity , one of the things that I received was a little wooden mini album. I had looked at it and wondered what I was going to do with it. Over at Crop Stop , I posted the weekly challenge. Please check out their blog & then post your creations on the forum . The challenge is to make a mini book for someone special. I did one for my daughters preschool teacher. It was announced last week that she was diagnosed with breast cancer. When I read the note, I stood there & cried, & I immediately thought, "What can I do for her?" I decided to use the journaling boxes on the back of a Fancy Pants 12x12 sheet. I cut them up, scanned the class picture & cropped each child & made individual small photos, added some bible verses & words of encouragement, & then embellished. I bound the pages with eyelets & a ring, added some ribbon, & had a small little book to give her. If you decide to create a mini album, please post over at the Crop Stop forum. Hi there! I have been out of commission for quite some time now, due to our laptop crashing! I have only been able to post what was needed of me, & not much else. So, today, my new laptop arrived at our front door & I am in Laptop Heaven! I have been putzing around with it for hours. Well, I was working a little tonight, but I stole it to bring up with me to play around with in between calls. So, hopefully I will now be able to post more often & get back into my grove! With that being said, let me show off a few of my creations from the past month (I looked over my blog & I missed a lot of stuff I've done). I won't go overboard tonight, but will try to post more often. This was at the pool last summer, & it was the first day that Audra went pee-pee on the potty outside of the house.
