Queen of the Crop

I wanted to share with you that I have been accepted to a Sketch Team for Nuts about Sketches! My term will be from September until February! I am super excited about it, & am really looking forward to designing for them. You know how much I love sketches!!! Below find the sketch & my submission. I am still getting used to this blog stuff. So, the picture got added a little later, but here it is. Enjoy.

Here is a current layout that I did for a ribbon challenge. It is something that I had wanted to try for awhile, but this allowed me to actually do it.

This past weekend we went to Long Beach Island to visit with Tony's Godmother & uncle. It was the first time that the girls have been to the beach since last summer. I have to say, that Emma did not like it one bit. She hated every little thing about it. She hated the sand,the water, the shells all over, the seaweed, the seagulls.....She isdefinitely a girlie-girl! Audra, on the other hand, loved everything!! She loved digging in the sand, she was chasing the seagulls, she loved loved loved the water, & wanted to go out deeper, then cried when we got out. Very night & day! Of all things, I forgot to bring my camera when we went to the beach!!! Me! Forgetting my camera! So, we used Tony's Blackberry, which didn't take the best pics, but it is better than nothing. (& one good thing is that my camera didn't get all sandy!). We did make it out to the lighthouse later in the day, which was really neat. I had my camera for that!! So, here are some

Here are some pics of Emma on the beach last summer. I couldn't resist taking the footprint picture. I didn't want to put too much on the page because the pics were so stinkin cute. lol.

I have myself a blog! Who would've thought? The craze has been going on all around me & I thought I would jump on the bandwagon & get one for myself. I love what everyone else does with theirs, so I thought I would give it a whirl. I will play with it in the days to come & see what I can add & do with it. Wish me luck!
